Infinitypedia is a wiki project established in February 2010 by Mugendai to create a fictional multiverse. It is the official successor of the Gammapedia project, which ran from 2005 to 2007.

Omniverse[edit | edit source]

The central concept of Infinitypedia is the Omniverse, a multiverse containing all universes. The Omniverse was further divided into multiverses, which contained universes and multiverses.

History[edit | edit source]

First iteration[edit | edit source]

The first version of Infinitypedia was divided into numerically designated "realities." The realities were:

  • Reality 0, the Infinitysphere.
  • Reality 1, "real life"
  • Reality 2, Team Rocket Wants You To Shut Up
  • Reality 3, One Past Nine
  • Reality 4, The Legacy of The Light Trilogy Saga
  • Reality 5, the Gammasphere
  • Reality 7, "a universe consisting entirely of internet meme material"
  • Reality 8, The Quill Project

Reality 0 was the "main reality" and mainly consisted of a crossover including things from all other realities.

Somewhat confusingly, "Infinitysphere" also sometimes referred to the multiverse itself.

This version of Infinitypedia enjoyed significant development throughout 2010-2011 and stagnated in 2012.

Fork[edit | edit source]

This version of Infinitypedia was forked into "Octagrammapedia" (later renamed Octapedia) in June 2011 by Adrian Malacoda. The fork was started because the original founder of Infinitypedia was becoming less active. However, the fork didn't go anywhere and is now used as an outdated backup of this version of Infinitypedia.

Revival[edit | edit source]

Infinitypedia was rebooted by the original creators with Project Infinitypedia Reboot in June 2013. The "realities" were done away with, and instead replaced with the current Omniverse concept.
